A lot of people wondered earlier what web 3.0 would be. Well, it is already here and we have been using it the past few years. It is making your browser smarter, using logarithms and metadata on your past web experience to help you in searches, particularly what you would be interested in. It is about searching and collating information automatically for you to peruse.
Sound familiar? It should. Your cell phone's apps are the base of this. They customize and sift through information for you. Imagine your standard restaurant suggestion app. In web 2.0, you can read reviews, join their social media groups, etc. In web 3.0, it would use your Foursquare info and browser history to offer suggestions on places you might like, narrowing down your choices.
