Minor League 2.0 Part 2

I continue my look at the use of social media and web 2.0 for marketing minor league baseball.

Next up: YouTube.  Teams do have channels.  They have all sorts of videos, such as season promo/ticket plans, highlight videos, or just plain, old funny videos that they may want to make viral.  They have a tendency to involve mascots in those.  One team uses this thinking it is SportsCenter.  No wonder they only have 57 subscribers to their channel.

Believe it or not, there is a blog that keeps tabs on all the promos, vids, and stunts the teams come up with.  Ben's Biz Blog is Minor League Baseball's attempt to keep an up to date listing of the goings ons in the minor leagues.  Bill Veeck would be proud.
